Our Leadership Team

Peter, Chloe and Noble are the leaders at LifeGiving Church.  They are supported by an amazing team of trustees who are gracious enough to focus on the legal and financial stuff, leaving the leaders free to pray, teach the Bible and love and lead the people at LifeGiving Church.  Another key member of our support team is Debbie, our utterly brilliant Pastoral and Ministry Co-ordinator.  If you have any questions about anything to do with church life, she's your first port of call.

So, here's what you need to know about the LifeGiving Church leadership team...  If you have a burning question that's not answered here, then just grab them one Sunday and ask away - they're very approachable!

Chloe
One of our regular preachers and the generally ‘organised one’(!), Chloe loves teaching the Bible and mentoring emerging leaders...usually over good coffee somewhere in Ealing.  After a Masters in Theology, she's now embarking on further research.  Can you tell that she has much preferred being part-time student and pastor to her previous role as a solicitor?! As the only employed leader (part-time), she is convinced that her job description is to keep the leadership boys in line - though she’s married to one of them, which helps!  (Her sense of humour helps too, she thinks.) She also has various freelance roles: speaking as a LICC Imagine Associate; tutoring for an open learning theology degree in the area of contemporary church and workplace; and occasional lecturing, writing and mentoring.  You can follow her at http://theartofsteering.wordpress.com.  She also loves to read, as well as enjoying good food and good wine with good friends.

Peter
Well...according to Peter he is the better half of Peter and Chloe (although Chloe disagrees!).  Peter does some of the preaching on Sundays and spends time discipling lots of the guys.  He is also in charge of the music side of things at church and is passionate about seeing people get connected in worship with God.  This side of his role also includes training and releasing new worship leaders.  The majority of his time and energy, though, is taken up with being a languages teacher at a comprehensive school in north-west London.  He likes spending time playing sport – football and tennis – whilst pretending to play golf occasionally.  In those rare free evenings, Peter enjoys a curry with the guys and has developed a soft spot for romcoms!

Noble
Noble, or Nobes as we call him, is most definitely the joker of the pack!  You can count on him to keep you guessing, catch you out, but always make you laugh.  He is a pastoral head of year in school with a big heart for helping young people to become all they can be - he says the worst students become the best teachers!  Noble also puts on events for young people across West London and has some serious skills when it comes to pulling together a great night.  He married well, to the beautiful Ivy, and is dad to Ezra.  Nobes is passionate about evangelism and works to develop evangelism and social justice as core areas of our church life.  On Sundays, he does some of the preaching but mostly you'll see him hanging out and connecting with people before, during and after our service.  And he has a speciality in instigating Mexican waves - ask him what that's about or join us one Sunday to see for yourself!
