We heard from the wonderful Peter on Sunday where he shared with us the message of salvation taken from Isaiah 13-27. You can find his sermon uploaded in the media section under podcasts if you want to listen (which I recommend you definitely do!). The below gives you an introduction into what Peter shared with us on Sunday.
Salvation is in God alone
- Don’t look anywhere else Isaiah 13-23
- No alliances with the gods of this world Isaiah 13-23
Salvation is coming so waiting is inevitable
- Wait patiently Isaiah 26:3
- Don’t try and sort it yourself
Salvation is guaranteed Isaiah 26:20-27:1

The faulous Paul spoke to us on Sunday about the prophet Isaiah who proclaimed God's message, heart and actions. Through this seven aspects of God's character were revealed...
1.He is love. (Cares and is devoted to his people.)
2.He is merciful and patient, (in dealing with us)
3.He is a God of reconciliation & restoration
4.He is a God of Justice (now and in the future)
5.He is a Jealous God. (He is singularly devoted to us and expects the same devotion from us)
6.He is faithful (even when we are not faithful)
7.He keeps his promises (and will return)
We also learnt that God really does get upset by our wrong-doings and that we must strive to be more Christ-like in our day to day lives.

They had a fun packed intinery which included games in the park, clubbing, sea-side, family meal, movies, church, shopping, woodland walk and lots and lots of cake! They had a wonderful time and can't wait to do it again! Prime is such a fantastic group, who really care for one another and God! We heard from the fabulously energetic Paul on Sunday as he shared with us how to be a better disciple of God in the work place. He was so on point with all he had to share, and I think it is fair to say that the whole congregation connected to the sermon in one way or another. It was also comforting to know that even if we don't feel we are specifically being a good Christian at work, that we do stand out because we have Jesus in us. Whether or not we choes to believe it, if we have accepted Jesus in our lives then our behaviour will be more Christ-Like then we may realise! It was also great to hear that we stand out by just being who we are! So don't be afraid to just be yourself and be proud of all that God has made you to be. Let's try out best to be good disciples of God at work this week and in the weeks, months and years to come :D

Happy happy mother's day to you all!!! We had a brilliant service celebrating all of our amazing mum's on Sunday at LGC! Worship was on fire, we had a solo performance of 'Wind Beneath my Wings' to a slideshow of pictures of everybody with their mum's, we heard from the children and what their mum's mean to them (very cute!). We also heard from Chloe about mothers, specifically Mary, Jesus' mother and just how important the realm of motherhood is to God and to top it all off with had the biggest feast LGC has ever seen!!! It really was a day full of joy (and sunshine!) and it was great to show our mums just how much they mean to us! We will be praying this week for anybody who is mum in any form of the word! We love you all!! xxx

Peter spoke to us on Sunday about the basic building blocks to being a good disciple. These included: Bible reading and study, Prayer, Spiritual Disciplines and Reading / Podcasts. He encouraged us all to make a commitment in three areas: KNOWIING God, BEING Godly and DOING God's work. We all filled in a card of what we would do to work and improve on these areas. It is so exciting to know that the more time we spend with God the closer we will be with him...so make the time this week to really commit all we can to God and build up our own blocks!
We are also having a very exciting MOTHER'S DAY SERVICE this Sunday! It is going to be full of fun with gifts for all ladies, singing performance, a sermon about motherhood, testimonies about mum's, a food banquet and much much more! Bring along your friends, and most importantly your mums! Don't miss out :D
