As a church we are reading Mark Stibbe's 'The 100 Verse Bible Challenge'. We are on day 8, and I am absolutely loving it! I have learnt so much information already, I would definitely recommend it to you all! If you are anything like me, I often struggle with books that use 'fancy words' (often for the sake of it), but this book is written so simply and clearly that the information really sinks in. We also have a coffee and cake afternoon this Thursday - Chloe is baking up a storm, so make sure you don't miss out on this great opportunity to socialise! Yey, we finally got some snow in London! It was so great to see so many people make it to Church despite the snowy conditions - everyone looked so snug and warm in their full 'winter outfits'. We had a wonderful service full of worship and praise (it definitely warmed us up) as well as a short and sweet message about giving from the utterly wonderful Sheila ! God is still showing himself so evidently within LGC, yet in a different way each week. It is so incredibly exciting and I know that everbody is becoming more and more eager each week to get to Church! So...if you fancy visiting then we would love to have you share in God's delight with us!
